Not necessary, I already (and still) am Level 50 Prestige 15 with 77 million CoDPoints.

I don't think they ever reset any rank on PC.

well there could be a chance that they work together and steam could give hints to 3arc but honestly i wouldnt care about.
my rank is still there and i dont think they will ever reset them
