1. Yea, I resolved that bug, You'll need a fresh installation. This happens because you still had old files.

3. Yes. This is what's killing small software developers (and i'm not even talking about microsoft appstore). Because it's not 'well known' chrome - and other browsers - assume it's a bad file.

4. How is this not useful?

Yes, Because everything has to be checked by Microsoft.
I tried signing up and they wanted my social security number, and who knows what else?
The thing I hate about app stores is that everything uploaded to it, always needs to be checked by the owners of the app store and needs to follow all kinds of rules.
