I now tried alot of things, including letting Steam verify everything and downloading the DLC from the link in het optimizer.
It still works like a charm in Solo, but i still get the error when hosting it and loading Ascension...
It works fine when i switch maps in Solo.
Link doesn't seem to be working for me.
Never mind. Fixed it. It wasn't easy for me to find it.

@clankstar, i dont know what you are doin wrong
@Clankstar, make sure your friends who have the optimizer/DLC have it working properly before you try it. If they can't get it working by themselves, then you've found the problem. Otherwise, I'm not too sure myself what you're doing wrong :S

They also can play solo perfectly and if one of them hosts, the host gets the error. Always te same. We are all using the original Black Ops game, this optimizer and the DLC from the optimizer link.
You all have the English version too, right?
The host crash doesn't only happen when trying to load ascension during a party with the optimizer, it also happens when the host tries to load "classic" zombie maps (Five, Kino...) with bindings on an clean install of Black Ops without the DLC. So this error isn't linked with the DLC nor with the optimizer.
I need a little help.
I tried to load Ascension, but I get an error that says:
"Server Script Compile Error
Unknown Function
(see the console for details)"
Anyone can help?
my question is which i think should be added to the faq,
after the business is all done and you've played a few private matches etc
do you then need to copy back over the original files to play on a online server, or is restarting the game without the optimizer sufficient?
Close game & Steam and just restart it again is enoguh.
Proof: You may have bought the DLC and your brother didn't. Valve will not ban your brother cause he plays with your files (they are shared).
