[Release] MW3 Dedicated server addon

like i say and the description says

1, download the addon
2, unpack the addon
3, configure the addon and all the plugins that you want.
4, open ftp
5, access server
6, locate the folder with admin,main,zone etc
7, upload the addon folder, plugins folder, and the dll file to the above dir.
8, if anything fails consult host with file failures,
9, if nothing fails start the sever,
10, plugin should be working,
11, if server fails to load then it may be getting stuck on addon update screen.
12, if above happens install files locally and run dedicated server to update addon.
13, upload updated files and start server.
14, if after doing al of the above consult logs and report back if no logs found the chances are your host doesn't have the addition .net installed on their server.
15, if this is the case speak to host or change hosts.

guys, i downloaded the server addon for mw3 server and read this lines on the post "All files & folders go inside the main server directory." but then i read this lines inside the file called READ_BEFORE_USING.txt "DO _NOT_ PLACE THIS IN YOUR MODERN WARFARE 3 FOLDER (Usually: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\) OR YOU WILL BE BANNED WHEN YOU RUN MW3. THE SERVER SHOULD BE IN AN ISOLATED FOLDER FROM YOUR MW3 GAME ITSELF." wtf?

did you have any issue uploading files any errors?

any log files get created as to help us figure out what the issue is

because you dont need steam to run your own ranked dedi server

Still with the problem on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bits:

I cannot get this to run. When I run the bat file I get "Failed to load addon.dll"

The dll exists in the addon folder, not sure why it is not finding it. All the .NET framework and C++ redistributables are installed.

Someone to help ?

hmm this addon doesnt work for me I cant find my server inside mw3 serverbrowser and when i write say in server console it says "server not running" can anyone fix that please

It has nothing to do with the addon. You're just failing and need to read some tutorials on setting up a mw3 server.
