you dont pre-cache sounds in mw3 plugins. At least you didn't before this update

sounds are precached per map, use elevator_bell to test (that one works on any map ive seen sofar)

In my first sharpshooter release i had the killstreak sound for the bonuses and it worked perfectly. Now that sound doesnt work i'll see with that one

Yeah, mine did that from day one. Just stop/start the exe and it usually fixes it. Sometimes some commands get mixed up too, so typing status will bring up the kick command. Wierd, but nothing to do with the addon.

Separate note: anyone having success with any of the admin tools and map changers? Since the new addon my bonemind/yurio config no longer works...

Yes, that happened to me, and then every one of our admins in turn.
