For some reason this doesn't work for me.
normal users can use the !warn command from the Warn & status plugin.
I used the plugin version with support for this permission plugin.
added all the settings to sv_config.ini
even though i didn't give them permission, normal users can still use the !warn function.
I'm running the server on linux.

Edit: I just tested, it works fine for me. I'm not on linux though, but I don't think that's the problem anyway. Please give me your sv_config.ini

You mean players of type 'user' can use !warn ? Because when I use your config, I can't. I still don't think it's a linux specific problem. Are you sure you are using the right version of the warning plugin? You should use the version that supports the permission plugin. When you go to that thread you should download 'MW3_Warn_Support.zip'. Also, did you not rename the plugins?

yes i used the MW3_Warn_Support version, removed my xuid from the leaders group so i'm added automatically to the users group. restarted the server and i can still warn myself.
i didn't rename any plugin.
