afaik not even the localized_ thing was necessary. In the first version of the game you just added all textures into one zip and called it texhack.iwd and it got loaded. Not even the same CRC was necessary. Well, now someone else tells the world about it, fix incoming in 2 months, I guess.

i had a person i knew that would just name it iw_26 and it would work, not that 26 is in the main folder. (name wise)
EDIT: some idiot had to leech without credits, wasnt a suprise. >.<
For some reason this fails to work at all, it doe sshow the textures in combat training but not online.
well it worked for some people

1. Navigate to the "..\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty black ops\main" folder.
2. Rename all your modded files like in this example: "iw_01.iwd" => "localized_german_bajs_iw_01.iwd".
3. Profit!
