Making an apocalyptic themed Minecraft map

Been working on a lot of small changes to existing areas, as well as something I'm going to keep secret, which is why I haven't posted in a while.

Added a little netherrack area by the lava sea to fit the theme.

You bring a good question. All areas will be utilized to have an unique purpose of their own, but currently the netherrack area only serves a safer way (but harder, considering travel time) to gather netherrack and quartz than the nether, if you count possible pvp encounters as safe that is. So far I am just working on getting all territories set up, and I still have a long way to go.

Made some Egypt-styled mountains of sand and sandstone.
