General Help Thread

I believe I have fixed the crashing server.

I was using (*) in my default.dsr so it just picked a map, apparently this is causing crashes. Replace the (*) with map names and all should be well. So far I have tested two servers and neither have crashed.

I can second that for the moment set this with the above at 1am GMT and it's now 8am GMT and no crash just yet.

About two days ago showed me the update addon, I have downloaded and since then the server will not start at all.
I have the latest version, checked.
Before you upgrade the server was falling every 20-30 minutes
error:
[9:59:08] EXCEPTION: 0xC0000417 @ 0x630ACE
[9:59:09] EXCEPTION: 0xC0000005 @ 0x93A66E5

We've started getting the 0xC0000417 @ 0x630ACE error code too.
At least the servers trying to load now...

Check your rotation.

Perhaps the problem with '*' symbol is DLC (PC they do not exist):

Quote:/ / <dlc maps> (included under '*')

* or mp_whatever, get the same error code with both.

Completely exclude this symbol from the file rotation.
