thats a server or mobile cpu, only 45W and socket FCBGA1224, FCPGA988
also a 6990 has 4GB of ram.

dont buy a laptop

not really worth it, you cant upgrade it easily like you can with a desktop tower.
i am just not a fan of laptops if you like to play for example

im moving to UK, i cant take desktop with me
laptop is much more suitable in this case

well i think i have just about compiled what i want in it

motherboard - ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

graphics card - ASUS ENGTX560 TI DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti

cpu - Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I72600K

Ram - keeping the 16 gigs (through all the flames)

same case, same power supply, and same dvd burner how about this now?

good decision, except for the rams, they are just useless Big Grin
they will block each of the top of the arts cpu heatsinks

alright i guess ill just go with the 8gb or something else (if i can find it Tongue)

found 16 gigs in two sticks of 8 gigs probably going to use this
