@GravzyHD VAC bans for the Call of Duty games on PC are only specifiv to the game the cheating infraction has occured on.

If you right click steam in the corner, and go to settings, then click the "?" next to your standing (assuming you have a VAC ban) it will show what games you are banned from.

I have been banned from CSS, MW3 and BOPS, i can still play CoD 4 and MW2 and all of my other games.

vac rules are still the same, they cant check every game for texture hacks because every game has different texture files
btw: as far as i have seen vac2 hasnt changed so i think the one that recieved the update is vac3
also in steam forums someone said that vmt hooks are now detected
