EDIT: Just found a bit more info, it was pretty much a massive VAC update, people have been hired to find/obtain hacks, get the local .dll files and then push it through the VAC system, in other words, detecting it easier.
So today we see VAC's revenge on the cheating community, a mass VAC detection roll-out runs today. ALL cheats/server modifiers etc are now detected, if you have used any of these in the past 24 hours, you probably waiting on a delayed ban.

As for me i have already been banned but i deserved it, I'm a dirty little Aim-botter from X22. I played for one year pretty much, using all kinds of different hacks, server tools/trainers/hooks/esp's and so much more. It took them this long to finally issue a mass VAC ban.
But, overall, i couldn't care less, i was getting bored of that game anyway.
I decided to make a thread about this in case any of you are using your own hook's/esp's and other stuff like that. This mass detection might get pretty much everything, it caught X22/codcheats.com/artificialaiming.com and a few other ones that you have to pay for. Every single non-trainer cheat on mpgh.net is detected. Even the FOV 100 changer is now issuing bans. (i know it is allowed by VAC now, but they messed up and people are complaining about it.)
I suggest going to the Valve forums, and reading up on it more there.
