MW3 was different. You had to 'hack' the language at first, but you could already play with everyone over the world, not just Russians.

False, you could set your language to English in steam for day 1. (I know because I bought a Russian MW3 key)

@surtek You certainly couldn't do that from day 1. I clearly remember playing with my game set to Russian, because that option wasn't available and the English language file download wasn't available either.

It was available for me, don't argue. I remember @d0h! telling me on day 1 that I didn't need to download language files because this option (see img) was in steam. I used it and it worked.

Then why did @d0h! upload the files even after that. I installed the language files manually, and many more people did. Even Nova says so.

Because in previous cods you needed to download them, so did he. Afterwards he knew that it is not necessary.

If this does mean that players with english keys won't get in matches with russian keys for example, this is the best news i've heard about this game so far.

+ less hackers
+ less high-ping players / less lag
+ people that speak the same language as you (or english)

The part about the hackers is always the same, people hack, some people get banned and some people not. End of story.

Also @Pozzuh I was able to set it to English from day one as well.

i just pre uploaded the language files in the past because no one knew that the game would be in english either.

One more reason why BO2 sucks. Because I am adecvate Russian (I know what you think of me, but in game I am adecvate ) and I want to play with other adecvate people, which would be VERY hard if only Russians will be playing. And, besides, isn't it a kind of nationalizm? Everybody can play with anybody, BUT Russians... Not even speaking about the fact that 99.9% you will be killing Russians in game.
