It was an update, mhnn seams no ban for leaderboards hax

update: 10 prestige and double weapon's XP (only 2h but not bad to level up ak47). Ofcourse i got token to reset until 1 prestige

I wonder if the people on the server will get banned and get their ranks reset too?

They can't, since you can join by accident. You can't ban them. If they would do something to people who join, it would be a rank reset. But ban: no.
