Hey guys how to convert a wav to work?

pretty sure you can't without modtools

I attempted to copy the header of a black ops WAV file to my own with no luck (no sound played)
but you can do this: rip singleplayer sounds and just copy them over multiplayer songs

THis is CSV Modding in FF File
i've been looking at the header ,ive managed to find the chunkbyte offset and someother offsets i think are to do with the sample rate and such i'll post a more detailed teartown soon
Has anyone had any luck in adding custom sounds to a mod yet?

It shows how to change a current sound with a custom one. For example: We want to add a sound and play it when a player presses 4.
I don't think that tutorial is going to work for Black Ops. The Black Ops wavs are
using some type of Treyarch header.

I'm beta testing a Injector tool made by Chronic that adds the correct header to a wav file.

The other problem is getting the game to play the new sounds since they are not replacing any stock sounds.

Getting the game to play them isn't hard, since you can just modify the names of the sounds that are used right now in the scripts or source..
Well thats sort of my problem. These sounds are for a new mod and they need to be added as new sounds, not replacing any existing sounds in the game.

Somehow I have to get the game to load the new sounds and play them when called by the mod.
Format Factory is a very good program i use to convert very diferent types of files formats and with diferent settings maybe you guys can have a look at it!

Ps: Formact Factory is free just search on google...

Thanks Barata...
