As far as I know, others will not easily know your information unless you have a Trojan or keylogger software program.
what if hacker hacks the recovery mail?
(05-16-2012, 09:19)gravzy Wrote: [ -> ]How to make steam guard effective:
1) Have it linked to an email completly seperate from anything else.
2) Have your steam password different to anything else!
3)Have a recovery email for your steam email.

When trying to get into a steam account, steam guard will NOT give away the email address to what your account is linked to, therefore making it hard to guess.

Having your steam password different from anything else will render keyloggers 99% useless unless they log your email. (Excluding account stealers)

Having a recovery email means that even if the hacker changes your steam email pass, you can recover it.

Just my two cents.
