Also probably going to buy Operation Arrowhead for EUR11 (someone knows it cheaper?) for at least the game itself (liked ArmA II) and I might like this.

I played some of the ArmA 2: OA SP, I didn't like it at all. It's way too realistic for me.

Also, if you own ArmA 2 on steam, and buy OA somewhere else it might be a bit hard(er) to get the mod working.

I play this mod without Arma 2: Combined Operations.
You can use Arma 2 Free + Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (15) as me.

Yes, I contacted the store I was going to get it from for EUR11 and asked them the compatibility with the Steam version of the basegame and they said it could be a problem indeed since they just give me a downloadlink to the retail installer.

It might work if you install the retail version in your steam game directory. For example, install the retail version in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\"

i just have to see this for myself.. soo put steam to work
