What command would you use to make a gun like the FN FAL automatic? Or just make any gun the player fires automatic?

Make a Gun Fully Automatic

Asset manager -> Choose your gun -> Change Fire Type to Full Auto -> F10

Is that it? Do you have to build mod or anything? I tried it and it doesn't seem to work with just editing the fnfal_mp.
