So far.. what I found from "my" forums is that CoD: Online is MP + SP only. And it includes a variety of maps from CoD 4, MW2, and BO.

I have no idea what to expect from this....

The launcher can be changed in languages but the game most likely not.

It's legal. It's owned by Activision. The developers are Tencent.

Quote:Activision and Chinese Internet service provider Tencent today announced Call of Duty: Online, a new PC free-to-play first-person shooter set for release in mainland China. According to Activision, the game will be based on Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare universe, and has been in development for almost two years.

Quote:Battlefield and Call of Duty are the two major FPS serieses in oversea market, since Battlefield Online has already licensed to Changyou, Call of Duty Online has bigger possibility as Tencent's new game.

Some more info you can register and download the game from here: http://codol.qq.com/201206/download.shtml
only problem is when you register your account you can't "play" as you need to pass a qualification form. And that is another problem because the whole thing is in -Chinese?- and you need some bullshit ID shit that you need from there as well as "favorite mailbox" idk what the fuck that even is.

I've translated the downloader, enjoy. And no, I can't read Chinese. I mainly used Google Translate. LOL

The green button on the left is "Settings" and the one next to it is "Start/Pause" (don't ask me why they are blank, it was originally like that). Double click on MiniQQDL.exe to download the game.
