I'll look into it. The default only allowed me to host an 8 man server (on a Dual Socket, Dual Core 3.0 Xeons, but I fixed it an was able to host an 18 slot server, so I'll have to see what could be causing the issue.

I can do some testing.. I have a Core i7 setup too.. But on my Pentium machine it doesnt work.. Will report back what happens on my i7 later

Not working here either, no matter what I set sv_maxclients to (even 2 players) I get "insufficient cpu performance 3.6849. Minimum 5.7 ghz required".

Yep, it won't start on my pc too.
Dual core 1,23Ghz. Even overclocked it to 1,4, still no go.
Need 5Ghz, it wants me to blow it up!
Worked like a charm before. Is there no way it can be null-ed completely?
