I think it was something with the speakers, I remember it was a hard and exhausting task.

You're both wrong and right.
It is possible to change the sound volume in MW2, however, only the main volume. (Which can any user can do in the options menu)

@iAegle clearly asked if it's possible to change the volume for a specific sound.

... Yes, there's functions for changing different channel volumes, but his question stays unchanged.
