While trying to open "ContentDescriptionRecord"

update your pc and install visual c++ redistributable
run as admin

I double checked. I do have it

Are you using x64? Maybe it's trying to load a file that's not 64 / 32

Yes, I'm on x64. Hm, I'll uninstall the x32 versions and see how it goes

Well, had that error before and it was fixed when I switched to 32

Same problem.
W7 x64, Also have all the visual c redists installed x86 and x64.
Half my games wouldn't run either if something was wrong with those redists.

The app runs fine untill I try to open the content description record then it throw the same exception caught Rong mentions.

I have the same problem, maybe the edited the files in newer versions?
