I actually created a public group called "KLSDLKGAKLDSG" or something like that, then I kicked myself out of it.

Guess how

It was a real life group, and the other members voted you out of it

If I press X, the member gets removed from the group
How is that not kicking people out of the group

If Valve blocks this for public groups (which It hink it doesn't), make it private, remove him/her (LOL, HER!) and make it public again. But he will be able to re-join.
