I'm curious how Apple will turn now.

i was never a fan of apple products but its truly very sad that he lost the fight

Apple products will finally excel again.
In the recent years he was one of the people that prevented (as an example) bluray player support in Mac OS X (because one could buy movies in iTunes).
Now he is gone (which is sad) and we will probably/hopefully see a slight turn in some products.
