Ok just though i'd make a list of things that we need or things missing from our modtools that are killing the inspiration of the blackops modding scene.

The obvious

* Radiant - fairly obvious.
* Sound Converter - many have tried tally has done it, but is not sharing.
* VMGun. files
* Character rig files -skeleton idk

-side note 2 of the viewmodels dont work


Also needed

* documentation
* more source files - i'm finding my self referring to other "rips" for files when it seems unecessary it Exclude them.
* treyarch & iw wiki/forums are never online when treyarch's is it needs updateing and i've never seen iw's everytime i think i've found something it take me to a site saying something a about a cloud update.

im sure im missing things and this was mostly a rant/fume but there you have it, some of the things that are makeing me look at other game engines.

documentation for what?
Also, modders don't need radiant. That's for mappers Big Grin

And what is VMgun?
I'd want some movement source files.

Radiant are for mappers and not being to able to make custom sound files is lame, indeed.
But the good thing about not being able to make custom sound files is that Treyarch prevents copyright that way.

Movement is done in the engine... We are using the MOD TOOLS. Not a SDK. This will never happen.
I agree, the wiki also is 99% of the time 500 Internal Server Error
also mods + maps = pure awesomeness

Nah
- Sounds support
- Radiant
- ALL SP Assets
- More support for modders
- ALL CSV Files
- Some VMGun, Char files
- ALL Material files
- Not bugged Asset Viewer
- Increased limits on assets ( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
Why not all Treyarch money?? They will do whatever they want, Dodgy
Radiant is definitely for modders. Using the current maps prevents the creation of many awesome mods.

+up to date .menu files.
(all SP and) ofc all ZM files
