Steam is best!You have all your games in one window, auto updates,shop,news,profile,groups,webbrowser ingame, easy invite to matches!,steam guard (it works perfect if you have an good antivir), a music player would be nice but dosent matter.

But because of steam we don't have to manually patch our games... patching sucks

Well they can always implent a simple auto-patch system like steam ... the only part of steam that is handy is the patching system, the rest is all extra bullshit.
