I think he knows how to make hud elements but he wants it to be controlled with a dvar. And the tutorials don't mention any of that.

Yeah I've just tried it, but I still cant the dvar to appear ingame

try this, not sure if it'll work

Creating the dvar works, I can set the text of a hud elem fine. I just cant access that dvar to change its value

Are you sure you put setdvar("scr_dvarhud","Default"); somewhere in init()

If you are sure you did that I think you can't do it. In other cods it works.
