MU had its download speed for non registered users capped on 4MB/s (unlike the 100-200kb/s everyone else has) and you could download files of max 1GB with it.
With short downloadtimelimits so you could basically watch (non-copyrighted) movies all day without waiting.

MediaFire doesn't do that.

Funny thing is that MegaUpload did have a clear DMCA takedown procedure and they did actually remove lots of files all the time ( Fuu ) so it might just come back. Like the MegaSong which they also got fucked over with.

to be honest I think its all been planed.. in order to make angry anti-sopa mass more pissed off ... which they apperantly succeded ... and they proly counted on "annonymous attack" so they come out as innocent and SOPA/PIPA to pass the congress... but eh I ll sleep fine as long as tpb is online Cool

Server at its capacity limit.

Also most of the contentservers were confiscated (US, Netherlands and something else) so isn't most of the content just gone?
