If there was a way to edit them we could probably use any dvar non cheat protected like cg_fov 80.. I've tried numerous different bypasses such as hex editing things in the .exe to making .cfg files in players2/ and main/ the same names as fastfile .cfg's with no luck at all. Just an idea to throw out there..

yea i figured if i tried the same i would have a vac... uhm is there anyway to get cg_fpv 80 to work? i mean wtf is this bullshit? they say the game isnt balanced for lean im guessing they meant the same towards fov, maxfps, packets, drawfps and many others. such shit.

its so nauseating to have the gun right up to your face, half ur screen (if ur using the sniper.. oh gawd.)

im willing to work for any work around i can get as long as i dont get vac banned.. damn.


btw anyone know why the players folder is named players2 and not just the regular players? and what of the 2 extra encoded files along with the config? And where are all the other dvars? I dont get how i can make something read only and yet ingame i have another setting.. or where the other settigns are being read from.

Have you already tried to open your library right click on Mw3 select start option and add -cg_fov 90?

No, that won't work. You also can't add it in config file. Maybe the dvar is blacklisted.

And editing these ff files of course won't work. Game seems to checks file hash of ff files.
