Hi Jariz,
ok i really want server messages to scroll ingame.
i read the install, but call me thick, never managed to get this working.
this is what i did:
1) i have a dedicated windows 2008 server i rent.
i have downloaded the mw3 dedicated server files from steam to my desktop, i have copied that folder and placed it inside my D drive (so this will be my server).
2) I have followed step 2 of the install guide and downloaded the file (Server Addon.zip).
I have uploaded & extracted to my dedibox: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing
so now i have a folder in the directory called: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\Server Addon
3) I have followed step 3 of the install guide and downloaded the file (RCON2.zip).
I have uploaded & extracted to my dedibox: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\Server Addon\plugins
so now i have a file in the directory called: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\Server Addon\plugins\RCON2.dll
4) I have then followed step 4 of the install guide and started: iw5mp_server.exe
and typed rcon_password "testing" in the console.
(i have a server.cfg file located: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\admin)
5) server launched with this image:
6) I have then downloaded the client, installed it and tried to connect to server.
nothing happens!
all ports are correctly forwarded in the servers firewall, i have checked.
i have even installed the client on the dedibox and tried to connect but still nothing happens, any advise as to what i am doing wrong here please sir?
mant thanks for your time and efforts.

@utdfederation Clearly looks like the addon doesn't even load.
I assume you installed the addon?

I have uploaded & extracted to my dedibox: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing
so now i have a folder in the directory called: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\Server Addon
theres an updater.exe file in: D:\GamingServers\MW3_Testing\Server Addon\addon\dist
i have clicked that and a command box quickly appears then disappears.
but apart from that there is nothing else in there to install.
have i forgot something here?
my xfire is; utdfederation
if it makes things easier.

the addon needs to go in the root of the server, not in a invidual map
aka the same place where iw5mp_server.exe is
also i don't got xfire, but i do have msn and steam

admin (folder)
appache (folder)
config (folder)
logs (folder)
main (folder)
miles (folder)
Redist (folder)
Server Addon (folder)
zone (folder)
iw5mp_server.exe
and all the other files.....
sent you a PM
ok nevermind it is running now
only problem i have now is the client reports "connection fail" when setting up.
does it have to use port: 28930?
can i not use port: 40034?

dont mean to be negative here Chottan, but if you ask in the correct manner you will no doubt receive an answer.
just posting:
"But What to me man what i have to do to fix it tell me"
comes accross as very rude, almost demanding an answer.
food for thought eh!
