An ALPHA is something (no one has access to it except for the dev(s)), a BETA is another (closed or open, you know the drill). An ALPHA BETA is all new to me c:

ALPHA is not only for devs. MW3 alpha was/is for family and friends. BF3 alpha was for everyone with a key. And the minecraft alpha was for everyone. Your statement is invalid.

the BF3 "alpha" was for magazines, big gaming websites and press that releases reviews, family and friends.
