Ppl can't join my private match & Exported wep is weird! - frozenliquid - 10-22-2011
So I got a few problems. First, I exported the G3 from CoD4 to BO and added it in my mod. It looks all fine but the problem comes up after I play in combat training.
This is what it looks like in 1st person and in Killcams:
Looks all fine and reloads + shoots fine. The problem is that from the point of view of others it looks like this:
How can I fix that?
The second problem was that when I host the mod in a private match and someone tries to join it, they get an error saying that the iw_38.iwd is different from the server. I don't think I've ever modified that file and when I tried to verify my files from steam, it didn't find any problems. Any fix?

Delete iw_38.iwd then vertify your games cache. If that doesn't work get a friend to send you his iw_38.iwd.

Haha yeah but I'd still rather have bystanders know what the weapon is supposed to be ;P
And as for the world material, I'm not sure how can I change it. Se7en said I should export a new weapon_g3 and replace worldModel\t5_weapon_m14_world to the new model. However I don't know how to export that new model. I found a file called weapon_g3 from the cod4 folder but I don't think that would do it, nor where should I place it, as I don't even have a file called t5_weapon_m14_world in my mod files.
