Looks like /connect support will be included in the upcoming patch. You guys will be able to connect directly to servers by specifying IP and Port, should you so desire.
RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - surtek - 12-01-2010
THANKYOU TREYARCH!

RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - thijs12 - 12-02-2010
Old News -.- He already said that /connect was coming back, he just didn't know when, but he promised it was coming back. - pcdev
RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - SuperNovaAO - 12-02-2010
As I said before: GameServers.com told me 2 days after the initial game release that they contacted Treyarch after I asked them about /connect and 3arc promised them it would come soon (well, they said they would at least add something for serveradmins to easily find and join your own server; the easiest way to do this is to just fully unlock the connect-command)
RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - Bloopbloop - 12-02-2010
Yeah I knew it was coming back, its just nice to see that treyhard is actually saying something.

RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - d0h! - 12-02-2010
lobbytracker exists since mw2, no need to use another one that is not working
RE: OH SHIT /CONNECT - Gladio - 12-02-2010
I know about lobbytracker (the one'n'only) and tracker (they call like this) posted before is unuseless, no direct connect and no info about player only number and map, nothing more then forum banner.
Do you realy think that 3arc will relase direct connect like before w/ gametracker.com? or only something like "you can connect from steam friend's list directly and not from ingame BO friend's list" ?
