So, the dvar value "sv_ranked x" is read-only...
Is there any way one could go around this to change the variable's number, hence making ranked servers (without vac too) possible, or am I just being a dreamer?

For VAC, sv_vac 0, and try stuff like MW2 xblive_something 1 and etc.

Or...You could make it private match and turn VAC off
That part is already figured out thanks entirely to treyarch.The question remains, how do we change the read-only ranked server dvar?

I dont think its possible well only supernovaAO knows away around this... i guess you will have to wait :p + 4FunPlayin "xblive_" commands are hidden and are not accessable :p

Find a way around CEG/VAC and simply find the offsets for read only/cheat protected then edit the code in realtime to ignore the checks.

changing sv_ranked to 2 will not make your server ranked. I tried it.
