Self-made mod not recognized. - Icy* - 11-02-2016 Hey guys, i could really use some help rightnow. When mw2 liberation still was a thing, i really loved to create mods (mostly gamemodes) for it. And after i saw that react's iwd mods are nothing more than a renamed zip file of a liberation mod, i tried simple mods like adding superjump & stuff but literally the SMALLEST change & the mod doesn't get recognized anymore, it just jumps straight into the game without downloading any assets in the map loading screen, to test this i litteraly changed one word on a existing mod (welcome message) that worked great beforehand. Now it just won't recognize the mod while loading & just starts a vanilla tdm. I'm so frustrated atm, could you guysshed some light on this, please? D: RE: Self-made mod not recognized. - Rendflex - 11-02-2016 That's weird! What client are you using? How are you loading the mods into the game? How do you edit the mods? RE: Self-made mod not recognized. - Icy* - 11-02-2016 I use the react client for actual playing. My mods structure: maps/mp/gametypes/_rank.gsc After rename: Folder/Identical mod name.iwdwhich then goes into the server:root/mods And mentioned the mod in theserver.cfg And editing mods is done in Notepad++ Thanks for the help. RE: Self-made mod not recognized. - Rendflex - 11-03-2016 Weeeeell, this is... really really weird... Can you load the mod without using a dedicated server? |
