Okay so yeag, I do not have any details, I have just seen a video which proves that there are mods (probably serverside but still), there are people playing together and there are more than 1 mod. Maybe we will finally be able to tune bf3 to our own taste? Idk, share your opinions, I am personally very happy, was saiting for it very long

Looks like fun, they should give us official modtools in bf4.
Every mod is a tweak. When I was saying "These are plugins, not mods for mw3" I was told that I am an idiot and all tweaks to the games are technically mods. So yeah
I would be happy even having tweaks. It is better than nothing

No. A tweak is to modify some value in the game, like fov from 65 to 90. Tweaks are not mods because mod can involve editing game models, textures, etc, these arent tweaks.
I think opinion is something personal so better leave it that way. There is not only ONE point of view, just respect others opinion...

I can't take any video with mashed8 in it serious. That guy's kind of a pompous dick. You can listen at 10:20. I promise you, mashed8 forced Frankie to say that whole remedy in exchange for his gameplay clips.
But the mods are neat. Shame they're what I would count under the category config.cfg mods though. The possibilities aren't many.

The line between a mod, a plugin and a tweak is subjective. It's like saying "big" or "small" are definitive amounts.
