Here is the tutorial on how to make UNDETECTED texture (skin/camo/scope/...) modifications.
Tutorial can help you making all kind of texture modifications not only skins as shown in tutorial.

Download:
extrat the "tools" archive to your desktop using winzip, winrar or any other packer
~download here
use the extra attached updated iwd x dds plugin.


Includes:
- Iwi x Dds (convert the .iwi files to a .dds format, which can be opened in photoshop with the plugin provided)
- dds2iwi (use this to convert your file back to an .iwi file, so it can be used ingame)
- HxD editor (a hex editor)
- CRC32Fixer (use this to make the files work in public matches)
- Photoshop Plugin (to open and edit .dds files in photoshop)


Follow the tutorial in images and make your custom textures.

I forgot to mention that some textures require different fixing, but this is main way for most of them

This might be a stupid question but, this dds plugin provided by Nvidia works on AMD ATI grapich cards?

Wich photoshop i need, the Cs5 Extended or the ELEMENTS 9?

photoshop , does not matter if cs3/4/5 extended or normal
the plugin works with every card

Sorry but i tried everything read over 100 times your tutorial but the plugin does not work for me T.T, i instaled the plugin in the rigth place and made everything right but my photoshop does not reads dds files.

If anyone knows why please help me...

By the way i have an ATI graphic card.

again it doesnt matter if you have ati or nvidia. it works with every card.

I just discovered what was causing to the photoshop to not read the plugin. I instaled the plugin on the 64bit version of photoshop after i reinstaled the plugin on the 32bit version of photoshop it worked.
