I'm was playing MW3 SP, and i saw:

Soap has Ranger (ranger is not ingame, maybe just added... as @Yamato did in mw2)?

On Village map

I saw the ranger too but he had never used it.

It should hold a dual wield golden pistol
but it doesn't ?

Its village map, not *forgot name*

ah ok, didn't know there were 2 of them

Try make the config file as read only see if you can get the ranger without your config resetting.
