Simply unpack the rar, use pakscape to open each individual iwi in your /main folder. then copy the contents from each designated folder from the rar into the appropriate iwi in pakscape. save each after replacing and enjoy the game. It is reccomended to back up iw00-05 in case you want to remove or experience errors, or updates, etc..

As far as I am aware, they are vac undetected. If anything valve would see the mismatched files as corrupted, or maybe they'd automatically assume a texture change. Crc's were fixed, as well as the main iwd headers in hex. Enjoy
