I'd like to have your banned account (if you don't use it anymore) to host mods

You can't play on banned accounts at this moment. You will stick on the connecting to servers screen.

I don't have a banned account myself so I can't check if you can easily bypass this like in MW2.

Is there no way of connecting to the secured servers? I recently got the Ban hammer from Steam for using a Catalyst Hax so im using MW2 Liberation at the moment and host modded lobbys.

Im guessing the public lobbys need clearance from VAC2?

recently? the hack is detected for like a year!
well you can use lobbytracker + liberation to host "public".
but there is no other legit way

Yeah got banned over the weekend, only used it for a few days.

So yeah im using Lobby Tracker and Liberation. Has anyone used Liberation on a clean account? If I got a new CD key and used Liberation to get round the VAC could I play Mods on the public servers?

i recommend to use liberation only with a banned acc. reason is obviously.
you have to create a new steam acc if you want to use a new cd key or the key will be instantly banned again.

you can only play mods if you join a liberation host if you like to use a non-banned acc.

Yeah you have a point! I was annoyed the most that I bought the DLC! So lost all that now.

But enjoy my modded lobbies now, I run loads of Mods

you can use both dlc packs with a banned account too if you use liberation.
