Ok, so...


I have successfully exported a cod char to black ops.

I have successfully created all the material files.

I can view the entire model in asset manager.

No errors ANYWHERE until...

I load the mod:

Couldn't find image:
~-name_of_my_texture_file

Ideas?

mp_modname\images put the texture there
do not add it to mod.csv
Same error.

My filename is my_texture_file, its throwing an error that says:

"couldn't load image: ~-gmy_texture_file"

More ideas?

did you use jariz compiler?
that might cause some issues sometimes just saying

No, wish it was something like that.

I asked mr. sparkymcsparks, we will see what he says.

I am sure it needs it in an iwd file somewhere...

Ok, can we keep us updated on that, might help future people doing it and many people and I will rep+ you and thank you for sharing such info, and we wouldnt need to ask all sparky
Have you correctly imported the model into asset manager? I'm not sure how to do it but here's a COD4 tutorial that may help:

Everything is correctly done to the point I can view it in asset viewer and
no errors or warning on ff build.

oh maybe add the file to bo folder/raw/images ?

Have you looked at the Materials part of the tutorial?
