I've seen a server with the kar98 and Arisaka from WaW so I'm pretty sure this can be done but I'm having some issues and wondering what the right way was to go about importing these into black ops. I've grabbed all the xmodel, xmodelparts, xmodelsurfs, materials, images, and weapon file for the kar98k but I get a few errors when trying to build my mod with them.
First is some filesize > 0 assert error which I have idea what that is. Second error is telling me the xmodel is the wrong version.
Anyone have any luck doing this or get any sort of custom weapon into Black Ops?

You need Maya 2009 and the Exporter.

Do you still have the IP?
kark98k no need to be imported from WaW, look into raw folder.
Use asset manager to find kar98k_scoped_mp , then edit to import model into mod and let me know......
You sure you seen such a server yet? pretty sick to hear.

There is no Kar98 in blops .. only the Mosin Nagant

I would ask the clan / modder but I doubt they will help me, basically they won't give me the time of day because they are sure I hack. That's why I'm asking here...I used an early version of this mod as a reference point (he included all files) and was able to find the waw files and get them in the right spots, created my own weapon file based off the mosin in Black Ops but I got the errors I mentioned in my original post. I even tried using all their mod files for the kar and couldn't get it to work so I'm not sure.
Any notice about this? this is the mod with that bolts
