A network node of my hoster got DDoS'd this night and therefore the site was unavailable from some countries for 4-10h.
Everything should work fine again.

If I would be American I would start a lawsuit and ask for 9001 million USD.
The over 9000 was too obvious

i think the 99.99% uptime is counted over the length of a month or a year.
yep, 99.99% over a year is 0.876hours downtime.
6 hours is more than 0.876hours.
99.99% over 10 years means they can be offline for ~8.8hours.

Update:
It wasn't a DDoS on the network but it was someone renting a server form my hoster who initiated a DDoS on someone else from this rented server (so the DDoS came FROM the network I am on to someone else's computer/network)
Quite stupid since it is illegal (in the Netherlands) and the hoster clearly knows who it was...
