If they would give us access, we would have helped them and it was done months ago. They do this all on purpose. If you can make a game before a deadline, you can also make modtools before a deadline.

what? when was even the game done? perhaps you forgot that they gave us a beta version as full release (lags/bugs/glitches/etc...) sometimes i wish it would rain brains

Yesterday morning I had this mod up and running a dedi server. Until I reset the host name within the mod itself (_rank.gsc) Now I can not get it to run at all. Some help will be great. Thanks.

Well changed servers, booted up the new one and ran like a champ. Damn GS

I'm trying to get it running on my server but I am confused with the versions. I see a note/link in Eekhoorn's signature referencing version 2 of PtK and I see a server running v2b8a in the Server Browser but the only download I see here is version 1 and the 1.09 patch. Is it considered v2 when the 1.09 patch is copied over the v1 download? Am I missing something?

The v2b8a server is eekhoorn's server and is v2. It has new weapons like raygun and mosin sniper in it. Also it has some nice new features and bugs are fixed. And ofcourse some custom images. At the moment there are 3 different version going. V1 which is released and everyone is running, v2.1 (which a friend is running) and v2.6 (eekhoorn's server).

How to know which version? v1 has no custom images. V2.1 has custom images but no weapons like mosin sniper in it. And last but not least: v2.6 has everything in it.

we are only posting patch notes, no patches to up - or downgrade your actual game version!
