Azumikkel is close to finishing his Hide & Seek mod for blackops, it's pretty awesome with no bugs, the only problem is that there aren't many Models.

His way, my way, and zxzzz way to get model names only give like 10 models for each map. I know there's a guy called ''mysty'' on the forums, but he's not very active and doesn't reply to PM's.

He once showed a picture of his progress of H&S, he claimed to have 200+ models for each map and on the picture he has a model that our function doesn't give the name off.

My question is DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA OF A WAY TO GET ALL MODEL NAMES, MAYBE LIKE YOU NEED TO TARGET A MODEL BEFORE YOU GET THE NAME, THNXX ANY HELP OR TIPS ARE WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe black ops tool mod weapons, dvars, objects, models ? i have it
Open the ff for the map and check which models it contains.
Check the CSV's or the GSC's to see which are precached.
look into iw04 or iw05
tnx for the replies guys, who knows a program for opening .ff?
without crashing Big Grin
Google for Open FF Black Ops and you'll find one @ TTG I think.
tnx
to bad, can't get those map.ff's opened or encrypted or decrypted or whatever, did like 5 tutorials but the program still gives me errors Sad
Started playing with models and found this.

Never seen that before eh? Came from the Nuketown Doomsday tower. Strange thing is I can't get the model name until I figure out the struct of the bomb entity. Did some research and found an example struct however I believe the model cannot be pulled out via GSC.

Eekhoorn, take the XBox files somewhere from Se7ensins. Most of these tools are made for the consoles and consoles use the different endian (Little vs. Big Endian) format. At least this was the case with MW2 and changing one byteflag in the ff readers made them work for PC (by reversing the way they read numbers in the file).
you can open it, i described it 1-2 weeks ago in a thread how i did it

use ff decrypter from cp monkey and convert it to a zone file. then open the zone file with the ihc zone file viewer.

ff decrypter is posted in the tools section, thats how it worked for me
