so at least i decided to write a little and easy to handle Tutorial on how to add DLC packages cause i recognized that there are still a lot of people that doesnt know how to do it -.-

What we need:
- winrar or winace or anything related to unpack the archive
- mw2 liberation
- common sense

Map packs (DLC1+2)

1. Download both map packs:
Part1 (280 MB both rs links) [DLC 1]
Part2
DLC 2 (354.07 MB)
2. unpack the archive
3. go to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps and store these two ncf files from the archive in your legit steamapps folder.
4. browse through the unpacked folder and search for a folder called dlc
5. copy & paste all files from the dlc folders and save it in
6. ignore all other files from the archives!! you only need the dlc folders and 2 .ncf files
7. voila we are done. now you can join lobbies that are hosted with liberation and playing dlc maps.
or you are going to host them by yourself.
8. visit http://www.itshax.com/LobbyTracker and follow the instructions to display your host and people will join

Hm I'm German so the folder is not english it's german.
What can i do?

add the maps in the "dlc" folder and the *.ncf files in steamapps

Downloaded only the first DLC but there isn't a .nfc file _ :evil:

then look into the second download, there are both *ncf files.

I'm having problems with the install of this DLC. I've downloaded all the files ( including the 'ncf filers.rar' ) and unrarred it all. Then I've placed the two .nfc files into the path: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps.

I think step four is the one who causes the problem, because the unpacked folders doesn't contain a folder called 'dlc'. So I simply took all the .ff files and copied them to: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\zone\ ( dlc, the map didn't exist so I made it myself ).

Does anyone have a tut wich is a bit better explained? Maybe someone Dutch can help me ?

the tut is pretty self explaining and idiot proof. just create a new folder called "dlc"
