Can you play whit mw2 mods whitout getting banned????

Yes, you can, not be playing or you can play from which both may result in not getting banned.

You can play them but not host them.
If you host mods on nonbanned steam game - you'll get ban.
If you're just joined to mod game - you'll not get ban.

There is people who actually havent got banned for hosting mods using liberation, but more than 80% have got banned for hosting (I am included in).

The way MW2 Liberation is made causes you to get a ban. But as people have said: playing a mod while not hosting it (and not using stuff like MW2 Liberation) will not give you a ban.

Yes but you can't join public matches anymore.

Yes but you can't join public matches anymore.

Well, you kind of can. You can use Liberation to bypass the VAC and start the game, and you can host a public match. So the only thing you can't is join a match that's already running, but you can force host yourself and still play normal ranked public matches.
