after android flash, sd card and sim don't work anymore

i can always go back to my stock rom (backupped it)
But i'm sick of the stock rom  But yea if I really can't get sd & sim to work with this one I'll have to

ah ok, not a bad idea.
I did the following: 1. Install custom kernel with ClockWorkMod 2. Flash ICS RC3.1 3. Flash CM7

Why don't you try to go back to the stock rom, and then try again.. maybe something happend when you installed this one?

take it to UNofficial support. i bricked my desire so that it was not starting AT ALL!! there are always ways to start it (on HTC there is secret volume up + power combination) and even this was not working.
i sent it to unofficial support, gave them 15$, next day MY (checked IMEI  ) htc was working o-O idk how they managed to start it, try sending it to support also.

@g-man it's not secret, it's just the recovery menu, also they could've put it in download mode to recover it
tl;dr you coul've easily done it yourself
