Help Bootloader unlock?

hey,
ive a SE Xperia Neo V and wants to ask if it would be good to unlock my bootlader or not...

are there any advantages / disadvantages?

you'll void your warranty & cannot do fota "Firmware upgrade Over The Air" but other then that yer great best thing scince sliced bread , assuming you have a real use for it , if you just wanting do to it for the lolz then dont bother ..

A friend of mine had a xperia and did it as well
Here are a few advantages

• You can install your own ROM's
  
• Custom recovery (such as CWM recovery)
  
• Sony supports it. (they give you a code to unlock your bootloader)
  

Disadvantages

• I'm not sure, but it might void your guarantee
  
• You might fuck up, I don't see how, but you might.
