its still two instances and it wont affect you

How does the patch find the original exe? When I place it in the root directory of the dedi and execute it, it says "MW3 Dedicated Server not Found"

This is an HLDSUpdateTool install. No Steam whatsoever.

How can i use this under wine? It just tells me that it doesn't find my server.

idea "click to start the It's Mods logo" is a bit useless (on linux through wine) because this way you must create a VNC screen (using ex. Xvfb screen isn't possible) and you can't switch off this screen.
SuperNovaAO - could you repair your app for working in Linux over Wine and made this version without clicking but add to start parameter example "+itsmodsftw"?

It's not working under HLDS install! it says "server not found".
How do you search for it?

I do have a VNC screen running. I can click the logo but ofc nothing happends. Just curious why this isn't working under wine.
